Alternative Perspectives on Cooperation: Construction and Mobility of Ideas and Practices in Conflict
Das Projekt geht über den staatszentrierten Diskurs über Kooperation hinaus, um alternative Wege zum Verständnis der globalen Zusammenarbeit zu finden. Dabei untersuche ich, wie die Praktiken und Vorstellungen von Widerstand geformt und verbreitet werden. Hier betrachte ich die konkrete Art und Weise, wie bestimmte Praktiken wie Steinschlagen, Sloganherstellung, Widerstandspoesie, Graffiti zirkulieren und in welcher Weise sie Normen für das Verhalten im Widerstand bilden. Im Rahmen der Konstruktion und Mobilität von Ideen im Widerstand ist Gender eine nützliche Kategorie, um zu analysieren, wie die männlichen und weiblichen Identitäten in den Widerstandsbewegungen geformt und reproduziert werden. Die Studie wird untersuchen, wie ähnliche Formen von Frauenagenturen sowohl in Palästina als auch in Kaschmir reproduziert werden. In diesen beiden Konflikträumen helfen Frauen, die Männlichkeit der Männer zurückzugewinnen, indem sie ihre Weiblichkeit in einer Weise einsetzen, die militante männliche Werte feiert. Zum Beispiel haben Frauen den Mutterschaftsdiskurs genutzt, um Vorstellungen vom Martyrium zu verherrlichen und zu fördern. Im Vordergrund steht die Konfliktresistenz und Kooperation solcher Bewegungen, die eine radikale Abkehr von unserem gemeinsamen sensorischen Verständnis globaler Zusammenarbeit darstellt. Eines der zentralen Ziele dieses Projekts ist es, darüber nachzudenken, wie Widerstandsbewegungen zur Entwicklung gemeinsamer Ethiken und Praktiken beitragen. Indem sie sich speziell auf die Praxis konzentriert und die darin enthaltenen Bedeutungen findet, versucht diese Arbeit, eine wichtige theoretische Intervention in Debatten über globale Zusammenarbeit zu leisten.
