An Imagined Green Future World Order with Chinese Characteristics: How Different Conceptions of a Sustainable Order Affect Global Climate Cooperation
Da sich China zunehmend im internationalen Klimabereich engagiert, bringt es Ideen wie den Aufbau einer "ökologischen Zivilisation", einer "harmonischen Gesellschaft" und einer "Gemeinschaft mit einer gemeinsamen Zukunft für die Menschheit" mit. Diese Formulierungen weisen auf eine spezifische chinesische Vision einer grünen Weltordnung hin, in der die Umwelt im Mittelpunkt steht und China das politische Zentrum bildet. Darüber hinaus wurden diese Ideen durch bedeutende Fortschritte im Bereich der grünen Technologien unterstützt, die China neben der symbolischen Rhetorik seiner politischen Konzepte auch eine bedeutende wirtschaftliche Macht verschafft haben. Daher entsprechen solche Konzepte nicht nur Annahmen und Weltanschauungen, sondern haben auch praktische politische Auswirkungen, und die Technologie steht im Mittelpunkt von Chinas Zukunftsvision für eine grüne Weltordnung. Vor diesem Hintergrund soll in dieser Studie untersucht werden, wie sich Chinas Vorstellung von einer grünen Weltordnung auf die globale Zusammenarbeit beim Klimawandel auswirkt. Theoretisch wird der Rahmen der soziotechnischen Vorstellungen genutzt und mit der Literatur zur globalen Klimakooperation kombiniert. Durch die Verknüpfung dieser beiden Ansätze soll ein Beitrag zu den theoretischen Fortschritten auf dem Gebiet der Klimakooperation geleistet werden, indem Technologie und die verschiedenen Vorstellungen von der Weltordnung in die Diskussion eingebracht werden. Methodisch wird die Methode der Inhaltsanalyse verwendet, um offizielle Dokumente, Reden, Erklärungen und Interviews zu analysieren.
