Forschungsprojekt am Kolleg

Politics of Affects: On the Formation of Transnational Political Emotions

Mein Projekt zielt darauf ab, die möglichen Verbindungen zwischen Institutionen und Emotionen zu erforschen, insbesondere, wie kooperative und demokratische Praktiken gestärkt werden können. Mich interessiert insbesondere die Rolle subjektiver Erfahrungen und Erzählungen in der Gesellschaftskritik und wie Kunst und Technologie zur Affektbildung beitragen können. Als Senior Researcher am KHK/Centre for Global Cooperation Research plane ich, die Bedingungen zu untersuchen, unter denen transnationale politische Emotionen gebildet werden können, und durch institutionelle und symbolische Vermittlung von Affekten transnationale Solidarität aufzubauen. Mein Ziel ist es auch, Einblicke in das brasilianische indianische Denken zu gewinnen, insbesondere in die Werke des Yanomami-Schamanen Davi Kopenawa und Ailton Krenak, und zu untersuchen, wie sie dazu beitragen können, sich eine pluriversalere Vorstellung von Kosmopolitik vorzustellen.
