Meibo Huang and Stephen Brown, respectively Senior Fellow and former Senior Fellow at the Käte Hamburger Kolleg / Centre for Global Cooperation Research hosted an in-house workshop on development cooperation on Friday, 2nd of August 2013.
In collaboration with the Institute for Development and Peace (INEF) and the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE), the workshop took place at the Centre for Global Cooperation Research in Duisburg.
Topics such as the EU Programming for South Sudan, "emerging powers" as humanitarian actors and the new Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation were discussed by international experts like Emma Mawdsley (Cambridge University) and specialists from the three institutes.
