In cooperation with the Institute for Development and Peace (INEF), the Käte Hamburger Kolleg / Centre for Global Cooperation Research (KHK/GCR21) hosted the workshop “India’s Role in Global Cooperation: Curbing or Shaping World Politics?” with comparative perspectives from the BRICS and the IBSA context. The workshop aimed to combine the discourse about the Indian economic growth - going hand in hand with the growing economic and political influence of the BRICS - with the discourse on historic changes in the Indian foreign policy concepts.
