The project examines how public-, private-, and civil society actors help shape the agenda for global migration governance. It asks the following questions: 1. How do public-, private-, and civil society actors envision global governance of migration, and how do they propose reaching this goal? 2. What aspects of migration do they highlight and how do these conceptualizations align with or deviate from the proposed global compacts on refugees and migration? 3. How do these actors engage with questions whether global governance of migration is desirable and attainable?
